Job summary

Silgen Industrial Corporation is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in the Philippines. The role involves presenting highly technical concepts, building customer relationships, and understanding product offerings.

You will discuss equipment needs with clients and engineers, generate leads, follow up, negotiate, and arrange deliveries while providing after-sales service. A Mechanical Engineering background with sales exposure in oil hydraulics or pneumatics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Preferably with Sales Experience in Oil Hydraulics or Pneumatics.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• Honest and hardworking; can work with minimal supervision.
• Having a valid Driver's License is an advantage.
• AutoCAD/SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Articulate highly technical concepts and demonstrations to leads and clients.
• Build relationships with current and potential customers and understand how we can provide our products and service.
• Understand and acquire technical knowledge on the products and services offered by the company.
• Discuss equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
• Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up after initial contact, secure and renew orders, negotiate prices, complete sales, and arrange deliveries.
• Provide after-sales service to customers.
