Job summary

EDC seeks an experienced Drilling Project Lead to manage a major well drilling program from concept to execution readiness in the Philippines. You will organize a multidisciplinary project development team and provide overall management through post-drilling onset, supporting drilling execution.

Planning duties include proposing well targets, preparing design options and geological prognoses, and ensuring civil works readiness prior to pad acceptance.

• Oversee wellsitting side of drilling operations; provide a technical assessment; recommend drilling operations with the Wellsite Geologist; ensure use of updated 3D geological model in well design preparations.

Planning: Proposes well targets and prepares well design options and geological prognoses. Collaborates with relevant groups to accomplish a commercially viable well, with an optimum drilling program based on sound geological assessments, using available geoscientific information. Ensures readiness of all civil works-related activities prior to pad acceptance.

Implementation: Oversees and manages the wellsitting side of the drilling operations; provides a comprehensive technical assessment, and recommends, together with the Wellsite Geologist (WSG), on the daily drilling operations of all EDC operating fields, both local and international. Ensures utlization of updated 3D geological model in well design preparations.
