• Lead development of a known well drilling project from conceptualization to approval.
• Organize a multi-disciplinary project development team to work-up project to execution readiness and support well drilling execution.
• Planning: Proposes well targets and prepares well design options and geological prognoses; collaborates to accomplish a commercially viable well with optimum drilling program.
• Implementation: Oversees wellsitting side of the drilling operations; provides a technical assessment; recommends with the Wellsite Geologist on daily drilling operations; ensures use of updated 3D geological model in well design preparations.
