Job summary

EDC seeks an experienced Drilling Project Lead to manage a major well drilling program from concept to execution readiness in the Philippines. You will organize a multidisciplinary project development team and provide overall management through post-drilling onset, supporting drilling execution.

Planning duties include proposing well targets, preparing design options and geological prognoses, and ensuring civil works readiness prior to pad acceptance.

• Provide overall management through post-drilling well cut-in and support drilling execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a known well drilling project from conceptualization to approval.
• Organize a multidisciplinary project development team to work-up project to execution readiness.
• Provide overall management until post-drilling well cut-in. Support well drilling execution.
• Propose well targets and prepare well design options and geological prognoses.
• Collaborate with relevant groups to achieve a commercially viable well with optimum drilling program based on geological assessments.
• Ensure readiness of civil works-related activities prior to pad acceptance.
• Oversee wellsitting side of drilling operations; provide a technical assessment; recommend drilling operations with the Wellsite Geologist; ensure use of updated 3D geological model in well design preparations.
