Job summary

Aurecon is hiring a Technical Learning Consultant to support the delivery and administration of its technical learning programs. You will partner with technology leaders and SMEs to manage content, LMS operations, program coordination, reporting, and process improvement.

The role requires coordinating learning programs, creating content for AureconU, and ensuring translations and course library management across locations. Flexible working is available to suit individual needs.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Learning & Development or related field.
• Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Workday Learning; others like Cornerstone.
• Experience coordinating learning programs, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and reporting.
• Basic audio and video editing skills for learning content.
• Knowledge of skills-based learning and development processes.
• Familiarity with instructional design tools, especially Articulate 360.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

What will you do?

In this position you will play an integral part in a team of specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of projects - including significant infrastructure projects.

We have an immediate vacancy for a Technical Learning Consultant to support the delivery and administration of Aurecon's technical learning programs, partnering with technical leaders and SMEs to manage learning content, LMS operations, program coordination, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Below are some of the things you will be doing to support "bringing ideas to life"

• Be the go-to person at Aurecon for the Graduate Technical Mastery program. In 2026, this program comprises 66 modules delivered by nine Disciplines over 20 weeks. The program will be delivered to Early Career Professionals and will be repeated annually. In 2027, a second program will be developed and delivered for Mid Career Professionals
• Partner with Discipline Leaders, Technical Community Leaders and nominated SMEs to support the delivery of high-quality technical learning content
• Manage the creation and issue of calendar invites for the Graduate Technical Mastery program, including speaker bios and course descriptions
• Manage the creation of learning content to be published in Aurecon U - basic audio and video editing, quality assurance checks, meta data and skills tagging, addition of cover images and thumbnails
• Publish content in AureconU LMS and report on completion rates
• Compile attendance lists for online delivery and coordinate with People team to bulk upload into Workday/Aurecon U
• Work with translation providers to manage the timely delivery and integration of translated learning content for agreed locations
• Organise source files and manage the course library in SharePoint to keep learning assets easy to locate and maintain throughout the program
• Establish workflows and processes to simplify the technical learning experience challenges and complexities of role

What can you bring to the team?

• Relevant qualification in Learning, Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5-7 years' experience in Learning & Development, training administration, assessment, or a similar learning environment.
• Experience administering and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Workday Learning; experience with other LMS platforms such as Cornerstone is also valued.
• Experience coordinating learning programs, including course setup, session scheduling, attendance tracking, reporting, and learner administration.
• Basic audio and video editing skills for learning content creation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of skills-based learning and development processes and methodologies.
• Basic familiarity with instructional design tools, particularly Articulate 360.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with SMEs, leaders, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate learning records.
• Experience working with translation providers and coordinating multilingual learning content is advantageous.
• Experience within an engineering, design, consulting, or professional services environment is desirable.
• Exposure to a global Shared Services or multinational environment is preferred.
• Interest in or experience using AI tools to enhance learning, content development, or operational efficiency.
