Job summary

Our client in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Technical Engineer to join its global precision measurement team. You will install, calibrate, maintain, and repair measuring instruments, provide on-site and in-house troubleshooting, and train customers on equipment and software. Travel locally and overseas as required.

Fresh graduates are welcome; comprehensive training will be provided.

Working Location

• Kallang, Singapore

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday (Flexible Start Time)
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Key Duties

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair precision measuring instruments.

Key Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Precision Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Prior experience in technical support, field service, maintenance, calibration, or engineering-related roles will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Comprehensive training will be provided.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Knowledge of metrology, calibration processes, precision measuring equipment, or ISO 17025 standards will be advantageous.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas when required.
