Job summary

Outsourcey in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented draftsman/drafter to produce evacuation diagrams for diverse facilities, align with Australian standards and client requirements, and convert site plans into clear emergency planning documents.

You will use the client’s tools, manage document versions, review plans for accuracy, liaise with the Australian team, and contribute to drafting efficiency and quality while advancing your career in a growing BPO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5 years of proven experience in drafting, technical drawing, document preparation, or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate work.
• Comfortable learning new software and internal systems.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and PDF editing tools.
• Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update evacuation diagrams for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public facilities.
• Produce emergency procedure manuals and supporting documentation in accordance with Australian standards and client requirements.
• Convert site plans, floor plans, and building information into clear, accurate emergency planning documentation.
• Utilise the client's proprietary software, templates, and drafting tools to produce consistent deliverables.
• Review plans for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before submission.
• Maintain organised digital records and document version control.
• Liaise with the Australian team to clarify project requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve drafting efficiency and documentation quality.
