Felicitysolar in Makati, Philippines, seeks a Solar Design Lead to architect and implement residential rooftop PV systems (3kW–50kW) with hybrid inverters and battery backup. You will size strings, select inverters, design BOS, and guide BESS integration for reliable, scalable energy solutions.

You will also develop training programs for dealers/installers, craft technical proposals, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while mentoring a growing team.

Formación

• 2+ years in solar PV residential systems (3kW–50kW)
• 1+ year in lead/supervisory role
• Expertise in string sizing, inverter topologies, BESS, and SLD creation
• Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid setups
• Strong leadership, communication, training, and customer-centric mindset

Responsabilidades

• Design complete residential rooftop solar PV systems (3kW–50kW) with hybrid inverter + battery backup
• Perform string sizing, inverter selection, BOS, and BESS integration
• Prepare preliminary SLDs, technical proposals, and BOMs to support sales
• Develop and lead dealer/installer certification programs for design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Ensure partners/installation teams follow quality guidelines and safety standards
• Act as technical escalation lead for post-installation and operational issues
• Diagnose electrical, inverter, BMS, and monitoring issues remotely or on-site

• - Design complete residential rooftop solar PV systems (3kW – 50kW), hybrid inverter + battery backup systems, and smart energy management solutions.
• - Perform accurate string sizing, inverter selection, Balance of System (BOS) component selection, and BESS integration (hybrid, off-grid, and backup configurations).
• - Prepare preliminary Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), technical proposals, and bill of materials (BOM) to support sales teams.
• - Develop and lead hands‑on dealer and installer certification programs covering system design fundamentals, proper installation practices, commissioning checklists, and troubleshooting basics.
• - Ensure partners and local installation teams adhere to quality control guidelines and industry safety standards.
• - Act as the primary technical escalation lead for complex post-installation and operational issues escalated by customers, dealers, or field installers.
• - Diagnose electrical, inverter, battery management system (BMS), and monitoring issues remotely or on‑site to ensure high customer satisfaction and system uptime.

Qualifications:

• - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• - 2+ years of experience in the solar PV industry with a strong focus on residential systems (3kW–50kW).
• - At least 1 year in a lead, supervisory, or managerial role.
• - Deep expertise in string sizing, inverter topologies, energy storage systems (BESS), and single-line diagram creation.
• - Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, grid‑tied, hybrid, and off‑grid solar setups.
• - Excellent leadership, communication, training, and problem‑solving abilities with a strong customer‑centric mindset.
