Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to translate business needs into effective technology solutions. You’ll act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, drive requirements gathering and design, and collaborate with developers and architects to optimize workflows and system integrations.

The role requires at least 5 years in business analysis or related fields, a strong understanding of APIs, data analysis, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Technical Business Analysis, System Integration, or Software Development.
Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, databases, and enterprise applications.
Experience working on API development and integration projects.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and business process modeling tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements-gathering skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in delivering technology solutions.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, data analysis, and process improvement practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories.
Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and architects to design and implement technology solutions.
Analyze and optimize business processes, workflows, and system integrations.
Support API integration, system interoperability, and data flow requirements.
Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution review sessions.
Create and maintain business process documentation, system requirements, and technical artifacts.
Assist in system testing, validation, and issue resolution to ensure solution quality.
Conduct data analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Monitor solution performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance requirements, and best practices.
