Job summary

GCash is seeking an IT Category Management & Strategic Sourcing Lead to drive end-to-end procurement for Technology categories including SaaS, hardware, and cloud services. You will conduct market research, cost modeling, and vendor consolidation to maximize value and efficiency.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Overall Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in strategic procurement and strategic sourcing.
Tech Category Expertise: At least 2 years managing and negotiating technology commodities (Software/SaaS, Hardware, Cloud).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end procurement cycles for Technology categories, including SaaS/Enterprise Software licenses, Hardware/Infrastructure, and Cloud Managed Services.
Manage relationships with local and international technology vendors, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance and risk management.
Lead high-stakes negotiations covering pricing models, licensing metrics, SLAs, MSAs, and data privacy terms.
Partner with internal tech leads, CTOs, IT Directors, and Finance to align procurement with architecture and goals; present complex data for leadership decisions.
