Job summary

FindJobIT is seeking a Tech Lead to guide an engineering vertical focused on real‑time logistics and transactional systems. You’ll organize delivery priorities, translate business needs into technical work, and mentor a small team while still shipping production code.

You’ll bridge engineering and cross‑functional leadership, owning the tech roadmap and shaping architecture for geospatial tracking, carrier matching, and payment integrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in senior or technical leadership roles while remaining hands‑on with backend development.
• Experience leading a small engineering team and delivering production software.
• Strong system design, API integration, database design, debugging, and production reliability skills.
• Experience building logistics, fintech, or operational systems where reliability directly impacts the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead sprint planning and execution, breaking complex initiatives into clear, actionable tasks.
• Write, review, and ship production‑grade backend code, leading by example.
• Mentor developers and establish standards for code quality, testing, and code reviews.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to align priorities, dependencies, scope, and timelines.
• Design and maintain geospatial capabilities for location tracking, geofencing, route geometry, and carrier matching.
• Build reliable event‑driven services for logistics and transactional workflows, including safeguards against duplicate processing.
• Build and maintain payment, payout, and Open Banking integrations.
• Establish proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability across production services.
• Own the vertical’s technical roadmap and contribute to architectural decisions.
