Jacobs Philippines is seeking a Team Leader in the Energy & Power division to support the Section Leader and Director of Operations. You will guide a small team, balance workloads, mentor staff, and help deliver client outcomes.

This role emphasizes people leadership, engagement, and strategic priorities, with flexible hybrid working arrangements across Jacobs offices and remote locations within the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) required.
• Experience leading teams in power generation or related sectors preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care, supporting team wellbeing, engagement, and day-to-day guidance.
• Assist with resource planning and facilitate workload balancing across the team.
• Support the Section Leader and Director of Operations with communication, team focus, and reinforcing strategic priorities.
• Review weekly timesheets and ensure accurate, timely submissions.
• Conduct or support career and performance conversations with team members.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and career support for junior and mid-level staff.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Advocate for Jacobs Culture of Caring, Inclusion & Diversity and Focus 20/100 initiatives.

As a Team Leader, you will play a key frontline leadership role, supporting the Section Leader and Director of Operations in driving team engagement, workload balance, wellbeing, and performance. This leadership role typically comprises 20-25% of your day-to-day responsibilities and contributes to Jacobs purpose of creating a more connected, sustainable world.

Key Responsibilities

Here’s what you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Proven experience in the power generation industry - thermal, renewable, or combined-cycle preferred.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, industry codes, and project management practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Business awareness and interest in contributing to commercial, client, and resourcing decisions.
