Job summary

BDO Life Assurance Company, Inc. in Makati is seeking a New Business Team Leader to oversee daily processing, receiving, policy assembly, QA, policy release, and document management.

You will drive accuracy, timely processing, and SLA compliance while mentoring New Business staff in a fast-paced life insurance operations environment. The role requires 5+ years in life insurance or related services, plus strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any business-related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in life insurance or business services.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily new business operations, including receiving, encoding, policy assembly, QA, policy release, document management, and disbursement.
• Ensure turnaround time (TAT), accuracy, and completeness of all new business transactions.
• Lead and manage New Business Support, Quality Control, Policy Release, and Document Management staff.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance; provide coaching and guidance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Handle operational concerns, including missing documents, system issues, and advisor inquiries.
• Prepare and monitor operational reports, trackers, logsheets, and performance metrics.
• Support process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, UAT activities, and user training.
• Coordinate with IT on system issues and prepare incident reports when necessary.
