Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax accounting or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of local and national tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using tax software and spreadsheet applications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Open to work in a hybrid setup.

About the role

• Preparing and filing accurate and timely local and national tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax, and withholding tax
• Maintaining tax records and documentation to support tax filings
• Conducting tax research and providing recommendations to management on tax planning and compliance
• Liaising with tax authorities and responding to tax inquiries or audits
• Identifying tax savings opportunities and implementing tax-efficient strategies
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
