Job Description
Performs regular compliance activities including preparation of tax returns, financial reports, account schedules, summary lists, sworn statements, and other required attachments. Ensures timely submissions and payments of these requirements with the different regulatory agencies(BIR, SEC, BOI, Local Government Unit)
Liaises directly with regulatory agencies in relation to registration, audit, application of certifications, refund, and other compliance related issues or initiatives.
Provides documentary requirements, analyses, and reconciliations, and coordinates with the company's consultants, lawyer and auditors for the completion of various statutory audits, transfer pricing study, expatriate PH taxation, VAT refund application, and other tax-related initiatives.
Monitors company's compliance, ensuring tax related accounts are reconciled, and documents and records are organized, complete and available.
Collaborates with the internal accounting team to ensure accurate financial recording and adherence to documentary requirements like invoice and receipt.
Conducts annual review or assessments of company's tax exposure and recommends corrective actions.
Monitors changes in tax legislations and accounting standards, initiates the implementation, and provides department or company-wide trainings, as necessary for policy awareness or relevant updates.
Handle bookkeeping and financial statements.
Qualifications
Has at least 3 years of relevant experience and expertise in taxation and BOI regulations.
With hands-on experience handling statutory and tax audits.
Demonstrates strong ability to analyze, interpret, and implement rules and regulations.
Proficient in ERP Accounting system with advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
Exhibits strong attention to details skills.
Communicates effectively in both oral and written formats and possesses a strong coordination, and pleasant interpersonal skills.
