Job summary

HOPE is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Supervisor to oversee corporate tax governance and regulatory compliance across its social programs. You will manage end-to-end tax processes, the preparation and filing of returns, and ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws.

The role combines hands-on tax management with advisory support, coordinating with finance teams and external advisors to navigate BIR audits and complex tax scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (BSA) or related Finance discipline.
• CPA credential preferred.
• Experience overseeing corporate tax compliance cycles and handling BIR audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, review, and filing of corporate tax returns (VAT, Income, and Withholding Taxes) and government remittances.
• Prepare for external tax audits, reconcile financial statements, and maintain audit-ready records.
• Assess tax implications of key business activities, monitor changes in regulations to support tax efficiency, and coordinate with external advisors on complex matters.
• Collaborate with internal accounting teams to improve financial reporting and address ad-hoc tax requirements.
