Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Metro Manila seeks an accountant responsible for tax filing, BIR submissions, and various audits. You will be involved in monitoring cash flow, preparing financial schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple accounting processes. This position requires active participation in food safety management initiatives and collaboration with external auditors for financial schedules.

Responsibilities

• Handle tax filing and BIR submissions.
• Ensure compliance with SEC report filing.
• Monitor cash flow and audit payroll processes.
• Review accounting reports including account reconciliations.
• Audit of Payroll (mandatory deductions and payments)
• Monitoring of VG employees cash advances deductions
• Audit of petty cash and revolving funds
• Audit of General Ledger accounts
• Recording of fuel expenses and payroll billing audits
• Checking of BPI bank statements and reconciliation
• Preparation of statements of account (SOA) for suppliers/customers
• NSF personal business closure handling and reporting
• Filing of BIR records, bank records and other documents
• Recording of sales returns from supermarkets
• Consolidating and reviewing accounting reports including reconciliations
• Coordinate with accounting team in financial schedules for external auditors
• Internal Auditor, part of FSMS: ISO 22000, GMP-HACCP, HALAL
• Participate in BIR and external auditors meetings
• Support food safety and quality programs with consistent reporting
• Report problems related to Food Safety Management System

• Monitoring of VG Employees Cash Advances Deduction

• Recording of Fuel Expenses
• Audit of Manpower Payroll Billing
• Checking of BPI Bank Statement
• Preparation of Just fruit SOA
• NSF Personal Business Closure

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Filing of BIR Records, Bank Records and other documents
• Recording of Sales Returns from Supermarket
• Consolidates and reviews all accounting reports including reconciliation of account
• Coordinates with the accounting team in the preparation of Financial schedules for External auditors.
• Internal Auditor, part of FSMS: ISO 22000, GMP-HACCP, HALAL.
• Participate fully and promptly to BIR and external auditors’ meetings
• Support and cooperate in the food safety and quality programs and initiatives of the company and consistently
• report problems with regards to Food Safety Management System.
