Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Tax Assistant Manager to join a Pioneer team serving Australia’s private and mid-market sectors. The role focuses on ownership of Australian tax engagements, guiding delivery across SME and mid-market portfolios, and contributing to advisory matters with Australian stakeholders through Emapta’s global platform.

The position offers a work-from-home setup with hybrid options in Makati, travel to Australia, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of Australian Tax experience.
• At least 2 years of Australian Public Practice Accounting experience.
• Exposure to SME and mid-market clients with AUD 5M-100M+ turnover.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Australian tax and accounting advisory support across SMEs, family businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and listed entities.
• Apply technical expertise in Australian tax compliance, accounting standards, and middle-market business advisory.
• Manage end-to-end client engagements while partnering with stakeholders and senior leaders on communication, presentations, and strategic delivery.
