Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking an Assistant Manager - AU Tax to join a pioneer team supporting a global Big Four firm. You will lead Australian tax, accounting, and advisory engagements across diverse client portfolios, guiding team performance and delivering exceptional service while benefiting from international exposure and a hybrid work setup in Pampanga.

Travel to Australia is part of the role, with a competitive sign-on bonus and ongoing opportunities for growth under Top 1% talent programs.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Australian Public Practice Accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of team leadership experience.
• Experience serving SME and mid-market clients with AUD5M-100M+ turnover.
• CA or CA-equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, accounting regulations.
• Proven ability to review technical work and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Australian tax and accounting advice and solutions to SMEs, privately owned businesses, trusts, ballot partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and small listed entities.
• Develop and apply expertise in Australian tax compliance, accounting, and business advisory services for middle-market clients.
• Lead and contribute throughout the full client engagement lifecycle.
• Communicate directly with clients through presentations and meetings involving senior stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality outcomes that promote long-term client success.
