Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking an Assistant Manager (Pod Lead) - AU Tax to lead engagements for a leading Big Four firm. You will oversee Australian tax, accounting, compliance, and advisory work, mentor professionals, and strengthen client relationships while coordinating cross-border assignments from Pampanga.

This full-time, day-shift role offers work-from-home with a hybrid setup in Pampanga, travel to Australia, and a competitive sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

4 to 5 years Australian Public Practice Accounting experience.
Experience preparing and reviewing Australian financial statements, tax workpapers, and income tax returns.
Experience managing SME and mid-market client portfolios with AUD5M-100M+ annual turnover.
Strong understanding of Australian taxation, accounting, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
CA-qualified or pursuing CA, supported by a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Deliver Australian tax, accounting, and advisory services across diverse client portfolios.
Manage end-to-end tax engagements with accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
Provide technical guidance on Australian taxation and advisory matters for middle-market clients.
Build trusted client relationships through presentations and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
Support engagement planning, quality assurance, and team capability development.
