Job summary

Salmon is seeking a senior localization writer to craft Filipino language content across marketing, product, and support channels. You will own the process from brief to publication and set quality standards for Tagalog and Cebuano in our app, website, and notifications.

You will build a Filipino-language glossary and contribute to our style guide, ensuring brand voice and regional nuance across regions. This role is remote-first, with core hours 12:00–6:00 PM Manila time, and opportunities to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional writing in Tagalog or Cebuano with published work.
• Native or near-native fluency in Tagalog and Cebuano; Cebuano required from day one.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to give clear feedback.
• Understanding of how Filipinos use financial apps.
• Experience building glossaries or tone guides; localization tooling.

Responsibilities

• Write marketing, website, product, and in-app copy in Tagalog and Cebuano.
• Adapt tone for regional audiences; expand Cebuano usage as product grows.
• Work with Marketing, Content, and Product on briefs and schedules.
