Job summary

Welo Global in the Philippines is seeking a Tagalog linguist for daily freelance localization projects across Marketing, Legal, Online Help, Product and Support.

The role involves translation, copy editing, linguistic review, quality control and MTPE from English into Tagalog; you will work with client platforms and ensure timely daily deliveries. Native or near-native Tagalog and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Tagalog (Philippines) and strong command of English.
• Professional experience in Marketing, Legal, Online Help, Product and Support translation/localization.
• Experience with CAT tools is required.
• BA in Linguistics/Translation or at least 3 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
