Job summary

Eastvantage Group is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer - Public Cloud to own Microsoft Azure infra, automate environments, and provide Level 2 cloud support. You will work with global teams, implement ITIL-aligned processes, and contribute to service improvements.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, 5+ years in IT, MSP exposure is a plus, and Azure Associate certifications are desirable. Onsite initially in Taguig, with hybrid posture later.

Qualifications

• Azure infrastructure management proficiency.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and general infra management.
• Experience with scripting, automation, and IaC.
• Familiarity with GitOps, DevOps practices, and ITIL.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years IT experience, preferably in cloud/server support.
• MSP environment experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of other clouds, Linux, Kubernetes, security is a plus.
• Azure Associate-level certifications are desirable.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

We're Hiring: Systems Engineer - Public Cloud!

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Systems Engineer - Public Cloud to join our team! The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management, particularly Microsoft Azure, along with strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.

Location: Taguig City

Work Mode: Work Onsite (3 months), Hybrid after.

Role: Senior Systems Engineer - Public Cloud

What You'll Do:

• Provide Level 2 support for managed public cloud services and resolve technical issues
• Build, deploy, manage, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Implement technical change requests and fulfill customer service requests
• Configure and automate cloud environments using scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps best practices
• Monitor cloud systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive continuous service improvement
• Maintain technical documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and accurate service records
• Collaborate with senior engineers and global teams to deliver excellent customer support
• Communicate technical updates and solutions clearly to customers
• Participate in ITIL processes, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation

What We're Looking For:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure infrastructure management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and general infrastructure management
• Experience with scripting, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Familiarity with GitOps, DevOps practices, and the ITIL framework
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• At least 5 years of IT experience, preferably in a cloud or server support role
• Experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is an advantage
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms, networking, Linux, Kubernetes, security, or server management is a plus
• Commitment to professional development and obtaining relevant certifications, with Azure Associate-level certifications highly desirable
• Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills
