Job summary

ScalableOS in Makati, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Level 3 Systems Engineer to solve complex problems, design and implement solutions, lead projects, and mentor technicians as a senior escalation resource.

This role blends Tier 3 technical support with systems engineering, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and project responsibilities. You will design, implement, migrate, secure, and improve client environments, communicating with clients throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of MSP experience.
• Senior Tier 2 / Tier 3 or equivalent role experience.
• Hands-on Windows Server administration with AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
• Experience with Windows Server migrations, upgrades, and replacements.
• Experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online knowledge.
• Strong Entra ID administration and troubleshooting (MFA, Conditional Access).
• Azure and cloud-hosted infrastructure knowledge.
• Hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, wireless.
• Experience with next-gen firewalls and MSP remote-support tools.
• Strong root-cause troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server, AD DS, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP.
• Manage Windows Server 2016/2019/2022+ environments and migrations.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and cloud services (Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint).
• Lead client transitions and migrations to cloud and hybrid architectures.

Job Description

SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Level 3Systems Engineer who can solve complex technical problems, design and implementsolutions, lead projects, mentor other technicians, and serve as a seniortechnical escalation resource.

This position combines advanced Tier 3technical support with systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, networking,cybersecurity, and project responsibilities.

When Tier 1 and Tier 2 techniciansencounter difficult server, Microsoft cloud, networking, cybersecurity, orinfrastructure problems, you are one of the people they escape to.

You will also design, implement, migrate,secure, and improve client technology environments.

You should be comfortable independentlyinvestigating complex technical problems, developing a plan, implementing asolution, and communicating with the client throughout the process.

Candidates whose experience is primarilydesktop support, helpdesk, or Microsoft 365 administration without meaningfulhands-on Windows Server experience will not meet the technical requirements ofthis position.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MSP experience
• Experience at a Senior Tier 2, Senior NOC,Tier 3, Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, or comparable technical level
• Significant hands-on Windows Serveradministration and troubleshooting experience, including strong Group Policy,DNS, DHCP, authentication, permissions, and Active Directory troubleshootingskills
• Experience performing Windows Servermigrations, upgrades, and replacements
• Experience supporting Hyper-V and/or VMware
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Exchange Onlineknowledge
• Strong Microsoft Entra ID administrationand troubleshooting skills, including MFA, Conditional Access, and modernidentity-security technologies
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure andcloud-hosted infrastructure, including Azure Virtual Machines, networking,storage, identity, and cloud-security concepts
• Experience supporting hybrid ActiveDirectory and Entra ID environments
