Job summary

Sumitomo Electric USA in the Philippines (Cabuyao, Laguna) seeks a technician to support daily operations and maintenance of Smart Factory systems, including web check sheets, Auto Recipe systems, and barcode scanning. You will help ensure smooth digital tooling for production lines.

You will also assist engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and improving production processes, bringing hands-on technical skills and familiarity with automation tools to the team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a process technical assistant in semiconductors or electronics preferred.
• Familiarity with automation systems, barcode tools, or digital production platforms.
• Basic knowledge in automation logic and machine interface systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on technical skills.
• Basic understanding of PLC or machine communication is a plus.
