Job summary

San Miguel Global Power seeks a System Administrator to join Limay Power Inc. (LPI) in Limay, Bataan. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining critical OT and IT systems, ensuring reliability and cybersecurity across the organization.

Responsibilities include managing Maximo, PI Historian, and related applications, supporting WAN/LAN connectivity, and enforcing IT policies while collaborating with multiple departments to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Information Systems (IS), or Computer Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Specialist.
• Knowledgeable in Maximo, SAP, or related CMMS software.
• Experience with PI Historian Systems (PI & Prism) is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of IT and OT hardware, network systems, and applications.
• Familiar with database management: DBL, SQL, MySQL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining critical OT and IT systems, ensuring system reliability, network connectivity, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain operational systems such as Maximo, eDNA/PI Historian, and related applications.
• Support WAN and Local Area Network (LAN) connectivity and infrastructure.
• Perform system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Support OT system management and technology improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the review, implementation, and documentation of IT policies, procedures, and projects.
• Ensure system security, availability, and reliability of critical business applications.
• Collaborate with various departments to address IT and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Information Systems (IS), or Computer Engineering.
• At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Specialist.
• Knowledgeable in Maximo System, SAP, or related CMMS software.
• Experience with PI Historian Systems (PI & Prism) is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of IT and OT hardware, network systems, and applications.
• Familiar with database management, including DBL, SQL, and MySQL.
• Basic knowledge of computer programming.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Positive work attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
