Job summary

Pilmico Foods Corporation in the Philippines seeks a Swine Farm Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the swine farm, ensuring animal care, production efficiency, and strong biosecurity. You will manage farm staff, monitor herd health, and enforce SOPs.

Responsibilities include supervising hiring and training, maintaining production records, coordinating feed and medications, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and local regulations while supporting budget targets.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Animal Science, Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Medicine.
• Preferably 3 years work experience in a 500-sow level swine operation, ideally as a supervisor in Breeding and Gestation.
• Hard skills include swine breeding, heat detection, AI, gestation procedures, and basic computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily care, feeding, breeding/rearing and health management of the swine herd including biosecurity.
• Direct and supervise farm workers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor herd health with regular checks, treatments and vaccinations.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions and records to ensure productivity.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure feed, medications and supplies are available.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and contribute to budget controls.
