Job summary

Aboitiz Foods is seeking a Farm Supervisor to lead the Breeding & Gestation unit, ensuring animal welfare, biosecurity, and production targets in the Philippines. You will supervise staff, monitor gestation and heat detection, and coordinate with lactation, nursery, and finishing units to optimize overall farm performance.

The role requires a degree in Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, or Veterinary Medicine and preferably 3 years in a 500-sow operation, with strong leadership and data-recording

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Animal Science, Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Medicine.
• Preferably 3 years of work experience in a 500-sow operation, preferably as a supervisor in Breeding and Gestation unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee breeding and gestation operations to meet production targets.
• Monitor heat detection, AI, boar semen collection and gestation processes.
• Maintain breeding and gestation records and reports for management.
• Ensure sows and piglets are housed in proper conditions and welfare guidelines are followed.
• Supervise farm staff and coordinate with other units (lactation, nursery, growing-finishing).
• Enforce biosecurity protocols and safety guidelines; manage budgets and facilities maintenance.
