Job summary

Seabourn is seeking a skilled chef de partie to lead daily food preparation and ensure exceptional quality across all dishes on board. You will follow supervisor guidance, coordinate tasks, and maintain rigorous health and safety standards in a high-demand cruise environment.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma from accredited culinary college or university.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
22+ years experience in a 5 star + hotel, cruise ship or high-profile restaurant performing the functions of a similar position.
Certification from accredited advanced food safety program.
Extensive knowledge in VSP preferred.

Responsibilities

Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the supervisors to meet the standard and the quality set by the company.
Follows instructions and recommendations from supervisors to complete daily tasks.
Coordinate daily tasks with the immediate supervisor.
Estimate daily production needs and check quality of raw and cooked food to meet health standards.
Ensure production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
