Newport World Resorts is seeking a Surveillance Technician to install, inspect, and maintain Surveillance Systems including CAS, facial recognition, and Video Management System to ensure optimal operation.

The role covers equipment inventory, installation and maintenance tasks, system monitoring, incident reporting, and documentation for compliance. Relevant licenses and technical knowledge are required or pursued where necessary.

Qualifications

• College graduate with related field (Electrical/Electronic or IT).
• LESP license preferred or willingness to certify.
• Experience level not strictly required but beneficial.
• Technical knowledge of surveillance systems is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in security and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory of surveillance system spare parts to ensure stock availability.
• Install, relocate or maintain surveillance cameras and related access systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure system functionality across CAS, facial recognition and VMS.
• Monitor servers, UPS and environmental alarms to ensure timely response.
• Document incidents and changes with proper records and drawings for compliance.

JOB SUMMARY

The Surveillance Technician is responsible for installation, checking and the maintenance of all Surveillance Systems which includes technical aspects of the Card Access System (CAS), Facial Recognition System and Video Management System to ensure the functionality of the systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Inventory and Asset Management

• Conduct inventory of Surveillance System spare parts to ensure availability of stocks.
• Conduct daily inspection of all installations Surveillance Camera, Facial Recognition System and technical aspect of the Card Access Systemequipment, to ensure the system is working and optimal camera coverage is achieved.

Installation, Maintenance, and System Performance

• To install, relocate or remove Surveillance Camera Gaming and non-gaming areas to maintain system effectiveness.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance to all Surveillance Systems which includes the technical aspect of the Card Access System, Facial Recognition System and Video Management System to ensure its functionality.

System Monitoring and Performance Verification

• Facilitate all the surveillance and access control systems scheduled/requested configurations for gaming tables and slots machine changes and other areas.
• Monitors Surveillance server room, UPS room temperature and alarm to ensure timely response.

Incident and Service Reporting

• Log all incident and service reports, ensuring accurate documentation of system issues and corrective actions.

Documentation and Compliance

• Create checklists and drawings for any changes in the gaming areas, ensuring proper documentation for compliance.
• Track all changes in equipment installation or layout to keep records updated for future reference.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College graduate, preferably of any of the following courses: Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering course, Information Technology.
• Must hold a License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP) or must be willing to undergo certification.
• Previous related work experience is an advantage but not required.
• Technical knowledge of Surveillance system.
• Demonstrated expertise in security and safety.
