Job summary

Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation (FELCO) is seeking a Team Leader for Supply Planning to lead the Planning team in Ermita, Manila. You will ensure optimal inventory levels and smooth goods flow across the supply chain, from planning to distribution to branches.

You will coach and develop the team, manage performance, and drive collaborative planning to align Demand and Supply. A strong background in logistics leadership and demand planning is required.

Qualifications

• At least three years of leadership experience in any supply chain function.
• Intermediate knowledge in Demand Planning processes to implement operational activities.
• Strong business acumen and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Supply Planning team to optimize productivity and engagement, including planning, performance management, development and coaching, and culture.
• Ensures smooth flow of goods from supply planning, ordering, and distribution to branches; reviews and escalates mitigation plans for risks and disruptions.
• Aligns decisions to the overall supply planning team goals and drives collaboration to resolve gaps between Demand and Supply Planning.
• Facilitates collaborative planning to reach optimal inventory levels and address process gaps.
• Continuously seeks opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the supply planning process.

About The Role

Location: Ermita, Manila (near SM Manila)

Role Type: Full-time Onsite

Department: Supply Chain Planning and Operations

Reporting to: Demand Planning Manager

Work Schedule: Compressed 5-day work week

The Team Leader for Supply Planning is responsible for managing the Supply Planning team to ensure optimal inventory level and all goods are flowing efficiently within the supply chain network.

• Effectively manages individuals/teams to optimize their productivity and engagement which includes work planning, performance management, development and coaching, and team culture management.
• Ensures a smooth flow of goods within the supply chain network from supply planning, ordering, and distribution to branches. Reviews and escalates mitigation plans on identified risks and other disruptions.
• Aligns decisions and actions to the overall supply planning team goals.
• Facilitates collaborative planning to arrive at optimal inventory level, resolve issues or conflicts arising in the process, and address gaps between Demand and Supply Planning.
• Continuously looks for opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply planning process.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or any other equivalent courses
• At least three years of relevant leadership experience in any supply chain function
