Job summary

EssilorLuxottica Philippines is seeking a Supply Chain Production Planner to ensure efficient planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources to meet customer demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science with at least 2 years of Production Planning experience, strong English communication, and proficiency in Oracle and MS Office tools. This is a full-time on-site position in Laguna, Biñan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 2 years of experience in Production Planning.
• Strong English language skills (read, write, speak).
• Excellent analytical abilities and inventory control expertise.
• Working knowledge of Oracle systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Planning: evaluate and maintain new flow planning and anticipate workload.
• Scheduling: develop production schedules based on forecasted demand.
• Order Management: reserve and allocate inventory to fulfill customer requirements.
• Coordination & Communication: monitor work-in-process and collaborate with departments to resolve constraints.
• Continuous Improvement: participate in projects to enhance processes.

Your role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Production Planner who will ensure efficient planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources to meet customer demand and maintain optimal inventory levels. This role is critical in supporting smooth production flows and timely delivery of goods.

Main responsibilities:

• Planning
  • Evaluates and maintains new flows planning and anticipate resources workload.
  • Analyzes and follows up production scheduling and adjust parameter and production constraints.
  • Coordinates with new product/new flow management team, to ensure products are available in time of requirement.
  • Manages the right level of substrates inventory to ensure good level of service to customer.
  • Manages VMI inventory includes replenishment computation and inventory KPI.
• Scheduling
  • Develops production schedules based on forecasted and actual customer demand, product demand profiles and knowledge of the customer.
• Order Management: Reserve and allocate inventory to fulfill customer requirements.
• Coordination & Communication: Monitor work-in-process, collaborate with

departments to resolve constraints, and ensure on-time delivery to the warehouse.

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in projects and initiatives to enhance processes.
• Compliance: Prepare reports, ensure ESH rule adherence, and promote Optodev core

values and EssilorLuxottica culture.

A Portrait of a Suitable Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 2 years of experience in Production Planning.
• Good working knowledge of English (read, write, speak with ease).
• Strong analytical ability and inventory control expertise.
• Knowledge of Oracle systems.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
