Job summary

Hiessence Consumer Goods Trading is seeking a Supply Chain Officer in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, to optimise procurement, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams across the supply chain.

The role requires 1–2 years in supply chain, strong Excel skills, and the ability to analyze data, negotiate with vendors, and improve processes for cost efficiency. Collaboration with Sales, E-commerce, Logistics, and Finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control systems.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities to work effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining accuracy.
• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies and experience in reducing procurement expenditure.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the consumer goods industry is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving supply chain technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of products, materials, and supplies.
• Coordinate purchasing activities, including preparation and monitoring of purchase orders.
• Communicate with local and international suppliers regarding orders, availability, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor incoming shipments and coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate the receiving, transfer, allocation, and release of stocks across warehouse, retail, and other company locations.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchase orders, deliveries, stock transfers, and other supply chain transactions.
• Conduct regular inventory monitoring and reconciliation and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and critical items and recommend appropriate replenishment actions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, Warehouse, Finance, and Operations teams regarding inventory and supply requirements.
• Monitor product availability for retail and e-commerce orders and coordinate with the fulfillment team to prevent delays and stock-outs.
• Track supplier and delivery performance and follow up on delayed, incomplete, or incorrect orders.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory, purchasing, stock movement, replenishment, and supplier/delivery status.
• Identify supply chain issues and operational bottlenecks and coordinate with concerned departments for resolution.
• Assist in improving purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and logistics processes to increase efficiency and minimize costs.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with established company procedures and inventory controls.
• Perform other supply chain and operational duties that may be assigned by management.
