Job summary

AvantePH in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end operations across demand planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution. The role ensures product availability across food and non-food categories while optimizing cost, efficiency, and service levels.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and implement ERP/WMS solutions, with a focus on regulatory compliance and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–10 years experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations within retail, FMCG, or general merchandise.
• Experience handling either food (perishables) and non-food categories is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Forecast demand and plan inventory to support sales targets and promotions.
• Manage sourcing and procurement of food and non-food products.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and compliance standards.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
• Supervise warehouse operations, storage, and logistics processes.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across the supply chain.
• Drive automation and system improvements (ERP, WMS, forecasting tools).
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with merchandising, category managers, finance, and store operations.
• Track KPIs such as service level, fill rate, inventory turnover, and logistics cost.
• Prepare reports and provide insights for senior management.
• Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions.

• Optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules to reduce costs.
  

Operations & Process Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across the supply chain.
  
• Drive automation and system improvements (ERP, WMS, forecasting tools).

Cross-functional Collaboration
