City of General Trias Doctor Medical Center is seeking a skilled Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to oversee hospital purchasing, inventory control, and supply chain operations. The role focuses on sourcing clinical and non-clinical supplies, equipment, and services cost-effectively while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.

You will lead end-to-end purchasing for medical items, monitor stock levels, assess supplier performance, and collaborate with Medical, Nursing, and Finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields.
• 4+ years in hospital procurement or supply chain.
• 2+ years in supervisory/managerial role.
• Proficient with HIS/ERP platforms and inventory software.
• Familiar with medical terminology and healthcare vendors.
• Strong negotiation, contract review, and financial analysis skills.
• Leadership and high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing for medical/surgical items, pharmaceuticals, lab reagents, and capex; negotiate pricing and SLAs.
• Maintain stock levels across central and sub-stores to prevent stock-outs.
• Evaluate supplier performance, conduct audits, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Medical, Nursing, and Finance for forecasting, product standardization, budgeting.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies and ensure DOH, FDA, and governance compliance.
• Supervise and mentor Purchasing, Materials Management, and Receiving teams.

About the role

Oversees hospital procurement, inventory control, and supply chain operations. Ensures clinical and non-clinical supplies, equipment, and services are sourced cost-effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with healthcare standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing for medical/surgical items, pharmaceuticals, lab reagents, and capital equipment; negotiate vendor pricing, credit terms, and SLAs
• Maintain optimal stock levels across central and sub-stores to prevent stock-outs and minimize holding costs; track usage velocity and expiration dates
• Evaluate supplier performance, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory mandates
• Partner with Medical, Nursing, and Finance teams for forecasting, product standardization, and budgeting
• Implement cost-reduction strategies and ensure strict adherence to DOH, FDA, and corporate governance policies
• Supervise and mentor the Purchasing, Materials Management, and Receiving teams

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Nursing, or related field
• 4+ years in procurement/supply chain (hospital/healthcare background strongly preferred)
• 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Proficient in HIS/ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory software
• Familiar with medical terminology and healthcare vendors
