Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations: supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
Manage inventory: conduct cycle counts and reconcile stock with systems to maintain high accuracy
Lead and train staff: direct warehouse team (associates, forklift operators), optimize workforce schedules, and mentor personnel.
Safety and compliance: enforce proper use of PPE, conduct safety inspections, document SOPs, and uphold regulatory standards.
Equipment upkeep: coordinate maintenance of forklifts, conveyors, and other material handling systems.
Track KPIs & reports: monitor productivity metrics accuracy, costs), prepare reports, and present performance data to management.
Continuous improvement: identify process bottlenecks, streamline workflows, reduce costs, and propose layout or automation upgrades.
