Job summary

Six Eleven Global Services and Solutions, Inc. in Davao City is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain professional for an on-site role. The ideal candidate will coordinate sourcing, purchasing, and logistics with international suppliers and factories in Asia, ensuring timely production and shipment.

You will manage POs, track orders, compute landed costs, compare freight rates, and communicate clearly with suppliers and freight agents to resolve delays and optimize total cost.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of direct experience in international supply chain, sourcing, purchasing, import/export, or import logistics.
• Hands-on experience with Asian suppliers or factories.
• Strong understanding of international purchasing and import processes.
• Experience with FOB pricing, landed cost, POs, production tracking, ocean freight, B/L, containers, and shipment coordination.
• Comfortable communicating directly with international suppliers and freight agents.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple suppliers, orders, shipments, and deadlines independently.
• Food industry experience is not required; experience with other products is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Keep supplier, product, quotation, and pricing information updated.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs).
• Place orders with selected suppliers.
• Follow up with factories to ensure orders are produced on time.
• Monitor orders during the 4 weeks before shipment.
• Identify delays, shortages, price changes, or other issues promptly.
• Get and compare shipping rates from different freight companies.
• Choose best shipping option based on cost and timing.
• Coordinate with supplier and freight company to arrange shipments.
• Track shipments using B/L, container numbers, and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with the freight company before shipment arrives.
• Arrange transportation from port to warehouse.
• Track shipment until it reaches the warehouse.
• Calculate the final total cost of the imported products.

Key Responsibilities | Supplier Sourcing & Costing

• Get product prices and shipping terms from international suppliers.

What We’re Looking For:
