Job summary

Virginia Food, Inc. in Cebu, Philippines seeks a Mechanical Engineering supervisor to lead the daily Mechanical, Plumbing, Welding & Fabrication section and optimize resources in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years supervisory experience; licensure is a strong plus, and knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing/power plant.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, QMS, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and Occupational Safety standards.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented with ability to maintain technical records.
• Ability to lead teams, optimize resources in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Mechanical, Plumbing, Welding & Fabrication Section.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and plant resources.
• Monitor GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and Process Control compliance.
• Supervise equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Resolve technical issues affecting plant operations and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives for plant utilities and operations.
