Job summary

Okta is hiring a Subscription Compliance Manager in Manila, Philippines. You will manage compliance engagements from start to finish, analyzing activation, usage, and contract data to ensure adherence to agreements.

You will work with Sales, Renewals, Customer Success, Deal Desk, Product, Legal and Operations to drive true-ups and upsell opportunities while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in subscription/licensing/contract compliance or software asset management.
• Experience working with Director- and VP-level personnel is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, written and verbal communication skills, and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance engagements from start to finish and drive revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Analyze activation, usage, and contract data to determine compliance status.
• Collaborate with Sales, Renewals, Customer Success, Deal Desk, Product, Legal and Operations.
• Identify true-up, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities and handle escalations.
• Contribute to training, policy development, and quarterly business reviews.

The Subscription Compliance Program (SCP)

The Subscription Compliance Program’s mission is to protect Okta’s Intellectual Property. We do this by recovering lost revenue due to compliance overages and educating our customers, partners, and employees.

The Subscription Compliance Manager Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Subscription Compliance, this role will be responsible for managing all aspects of a compliance engagement. You will work with internal tools and systems to determine if Okta’s customers are in compliance with the terms and conditions of their agreements. When subscription violations are identified, You will collaborate with Sales and other internal teams to resolve the compliance issues and drive revenue growth while ensuring a positive sales experience for the customer.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage compliance engagements from beginning to end
• Analyze and interpret complex subscription activation, usage, and contract data
• Work extensively across several internal organizations such as Sales, Renewals, Customer Success, Deal Desk, Product, Data, Legal, and Operations
• Strategize with Account Teams in driving true-up, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
• Handle both internal and external compliance-related escalations
• Participate in ongoing Sales / Account Team training and enablement
• Help create and improve compliance policies, procedures, playbooks, and best practices
• Attend and present at Sales Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)

What you’ll bring to the role

• 5+ years of subscription compliance, license compliance, license management, contract compliance, software audit, software asset management, IT asset management, and/or other related experience
• Experience working with Director-level and VP-level personnel
• Strong negotiation skills, written and verbal communication skills
• Project management skills, organizational and time management skills
• Process improvement capabilities, precise attention to detail
• Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!

• Audit and/or compliance experience at a high-growth SaaS company
• Knowledge of SaaS financial, operational, and business metrics
• Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Google Workspace, and Slack
