Job summary

DBA Advisory Pty is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Estimator to prepare estimates and bids for diverse construction projects. The role requires reading blueprints, using AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, and Excel, and coordinating with subcontractors for accurate pricing.

Ideal candidates have a background in architecture-related cost estimation, tendering, and project management, with strong English communication and organizational skills. Willing to work at Subic facilities on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, tendering, budgets, or project management.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, drawings, specs, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).
• Proficient with Excel and software like AutoCAD/Bluebeam Revu/SketchUp.
• Able to read blueprints and plans and prepare accurate estimates.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenders based on project requirements and client specs.
• Review construction plans, drawings, specs, and tender docs; identify trade requirements.
• Prepare detailed estimates, BOQs, and tenders based on measurements.
• Develop scope of works from BOQs and project needs; issue bid requests to subs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for pricing and scope clarifications.
• Prepare bid summaries and ensure all costs are captured accurately.
• Maintain project documentation, estimates, and correspondence.
