INTEC Energy Solutions, Manila-based, is seeking a Subcontract Engineer to manage subcontract administration for EPC and renewable energy projects in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. You will handle agreements, documentation, and compliance while coordinating with site and head-office teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in subcontract or contract administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and strong English communication. Prior experience in utility-scale solar is an advantage.

• Experience with infrastructure or utility-scale solar projects is a strong advantage.
• Strong documentation control and fluent English communication.

Responsabilidades

JOB DESCRIPTION

Subcontract Administration

• Administer subcontract agreements from award through final close-out
• Maintain accurate subcontract records, logs, and documentation
• Ensure subcontractors comply with contractual terms, project specifications, and company policies
• Monitor subcontractor performance and contractual deliverables
• Support subcontract kick-off meetings and ongoing coordination activities

Contract Compliance & Documentation

• Prepare, review, and track subcontract correspondence
• Maintain subcontract registers, change order logs, and contractual records
• Ensure all project documentation is properly filed and controlled
• Assist in the preparation and management of subcontract amendments and change orders
• Coordinate with project controls, engineering, procurement, construction, and finance teams

Commercial & Claims Support

• Review subcontractor invoices and payment applications for contractual compliance
• Assist in evaluating variations, claims, and extension of time requests
• Support the preparation of contractual notices and responses
• Identify potential contractual risks and escalates issues when necessary
• Assist in subcontract close-out and final account settlement activities

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with subcontractors, project management teams, and corporate contract management departments
• Support communication between site and head office regarding subcontract matters
• Participate in project meetings and prepare contractual reports as required

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in subcontract administration, contract administration, or commercial project support
• Previous experience in construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, or EPC projects is highly preferred
• Experience working on utility-scale solar projects is considered a strong advantage
• Good understanding of subcontract management principles and contract administration processes
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is an advantage
• Strong document control and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced project environment
