Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our Manila operations. You will contribute to civil design, drawings and analyses across EPC and BESS projects.

The role requires a licensed civil engineer with 5+ years, familiarity with international standards (IEC, ASTM, ASCE), AutoCAD 2D and Civil 3D, and ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams in a global company. Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer with relevant certification.
• Minimum 5 years in civil design, preferably in renewable energy projects.
• Familiar with IEC, ASTM, ASCE and international standards.
• Experience with road and drainage design and earthworks.

Responsibilities

As an international company we are looking for a Civil Design Engineer who will work in Manila, Philippines

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical tasks assigned by the Civil Structural Manager/Lead Design Engineer such as civil design andl analyses, calculation report, verification or study activities
• Prepares Civil drawings and sketches
• Coordinate and Interface with other project team/disciplines and designers
• Conduct project advanced research and desktop studies such as geological and geographical, hydrological and hydraulical, topo survey analysis, hazard map site grading and earthworks study, storm management and drainage study, access road and infrastructure design, flood risk assessment,
• Prepares internal and external minutes of the meeting
• In line with the growth targets of the company to develop the strategies that are created, to contribute,
• Preparation & communication of scope of work for external structural companies/engineers
• Ensuring the reports/deliveries are complete & according to the scope of work

Qualifications:

• Licensed/Registered Civil Engineer or equivalent certification
• Minimum 5 years Civil Design experience preferably in renewable energy, Solar PV, and/or BESS projects.
• Familiar with international standards (IEC, ASTM, ACI, ASCE, Eurocode, AU-NZ standards, IBC)
• Familiar with construction techniques and health and safey standard in diverse geographical and climatic conditions
• Knowledge of environmental impact assessments
• Experienced in civil & infrastructure designs
• Well experienced on international well-known design standards
• Well experienced on Autocad 2D & Civil 3D usage
• Well experienced on road design & drainage system design
• Well experienced on earthworks (cut & fill) design
• Well experienced on hydrological surface & rainfall event modelling (defining the catchment zones and observing the flood depths by using well-known softwares in the market)
• Drainage design experience based on prepared hydrological surface models
• Swept path analysis experience for road design
• Well experienced in civil design calculations & reporting
• Be familiar to work in multi-discipline projects
