IDP Education Philippines Inc. is seeking an Education Counsellor (Cebu) to guide international students through choosing and applying to study programs in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, counselling, international relations, or a related discipline.
• Experience as an Education Counsellor focusing on Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the United Kingdom.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Eligibility to work in the Philippines; Cebu office location.
• Proven track record of meeting individual and team targets in a client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct counselling sessions (virtual and in-person) to help students select courses and institutions that align with their goals.
• Guide students through applications: eligibility, admissions, scholarships, visa processes, and pre-departure briefings.
• Develop relationships with students, families, and institutional partners to uphold high professional standards.
• Use CRM systems to track engagement, manage leads, schedule follow-ups, and process applications/enrolments.
• Identify new business opportunities by engaging with schools, universities, and scholarship providers.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to plan events, workshops, and outreach activities.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via email, phone, or chat; maintain service excellence.
• Act with integrity and uphold IDP’s values in all dealings.
• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
• Assist students post-arrival, coordinating referrals to relevant agencies and university support services.
