Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a skilled professional to plan, coordinate, and execute structural steel fabrication and erection for semiconductor facilities. The role involves ensuring work aligns with drawings, specifications, safety standards, and construction schedules.

You will coordinate with design teams, fabrication yards, and multiple disciplines to ensure timely fabrication, delivery, and erection of components, while overseeing welding, lifting, and inspection activities to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with structural steel fabrication and erection experience.
• Experience in industrial or semiconductor projects, quality management, safety compliance, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute structural steel fabrication and erection works per drawings, specs, quality standards, safety requirements, and schedules.
• Coordinate with design teams, fabrication yards, civil, mechanical, electrical, process, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely fabrication, delivery, and erection of components.
• Supervise fabrication, fit-up, welding, surface treatment, lifting, erection, alignment, bolting, and final inspection; monitor manpower, materials, cranes, and productivity to meet milestones.
• Ensure QA/QC through material traceability, dimensional inspections, welding quality control, bolt torque verification, NDT coordination, and documentation; enforce HSE via lifting plans, PPE, and permit-to-work systems.
• Maintain fabrication, erection, and progress records to support project completion and handover.
