Job summary

DMA Steel-Detailing is seeking an experienced steel detailing professional in the Philippines to create and edit GA and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures. You will interpret structural and architectural drawings and ensure models meet project standards and client requirements.

The role requires coordinating with the Modeler and Manager to resolve design issues, maintaining comprehensive project files, and supporting on-time delivery with high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Experience preparing shop drawings for fabrication and erection.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit detail and section drawings for GA and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
• Ensure models comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate and highlight discrepancies to Modeler and Manager to resolve design issues.
• Maintain project files, revisions, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Description:

• Create and Edit detail & section for GA & Fabrication Drawing using Tekla Structures software.
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in steel detailing for Steel Structures, with the ability to interpret and apply design and construction standards.
• Experience preparing accurate Shop Drawings for fabrication and erection, including connection details.
• Ability to read and interpret Structural and Architectural Drawings.
• Hands-on experience with Tekla Structures.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to follow project specifications, fabricator standard and relevant codes.
• Demonstrates the ability to understand, follow, and execute instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Completes assigned tasks according to established procedures, seeks clarification when needed, and maintains attention to detail to ensure requirements are met.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; 5years experience in structural steel detailing using Tekla structure is highly preferred.
