The ideal candidate will handle rebar layouts, bending schedules, and reinforcement drawings, collaborating with engineers and BIM teams to meet European standards and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Hands-on TEKLA Structures experience for concrete and steel detailing.
• Experience as a Rebar Detailer in large infrastructure projects.
• Experience on Subway, Canal, Water Gate or similar heavy civil projects is highly preferred.
• Exposure to international (European) project standards.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to determine rebar requirements.
• Develop detailed rebar layouts, bar bending schedules, and reinforcement drawings using TEKLA Structures.
• Prepare concrete outline drawings and contribute to construction sequencing.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Rebar Detailer to support international infrastructure projects. This role is project-based for one (1) year, commencing January 2027, with the possibility of extension depending on project requirements and performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in TEKLA Structures for both concrete and steel detailing, with proven experience in large-scale infrastructure such as subways, canals, and water gate systems. You will play a key role in delivering precise and optimized reinforcement detailing aligned with European standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to determine rebar requirements.
• Develop detailed rebar layouts, bar bending schedules, and reinforcement drawings using TEKLA Structures.
• Prepare concrete outline drawings and contribute to construction phasing and sequencing.
• Produce accurate detailing for both reinforced concrete and structural steel components.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, BIM teams, and project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and technical issues.
• Ensure all detailing outputs comply with international (European) standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.
• Optimize rebar design to improve constructability, material efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Support coordination within BIM environments and multidisciplinary teams.
• Stay updated on advancements in rebar detailing technologies, TEKLA tools, and BIM workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in TEKLA Structures, specifically for both concrete and steel detailing.
• Proven experience as a Rebar Detailer in infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in Subway, Canal, Water Gate, or similar heavy civil/infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Exposure to international (European) project standards is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing standards, building codes, and construction practices.
• Experience working in BIM and 3D modeling environments.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary and international setting.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
