Job summary

Property Company of Friends, Inc. seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to deliver accurate land development, amenities, residential and commercial project designs and budgets within agreed timelines.

You will coordinate with the architectural team from SD to CD stages, supervise submittals and budgets, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with the Structural Code of the Philippines and local codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with Professional License.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD and ETABS.
• Knowledgeable in Construction Estimates.
• Knowledgeable in Structural Design (Midrise – RC Building).
• Knowledgeable in Structural Code of the Philippines and local codes for structures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and complete land development, amenities, residential and commercial project budgets and estimates.
• Coordinate with engineers to prepare budgets and designs for presentation and approval.
• Prepare structural designs and coordinate with the architectural team from SD to CD stages.
• Coordinate with Structural consultants during design and construction stages.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design and budget; submit findings to supervisor.
• Ensure maintenance of pertinent files and documents for future reference.
• Attend project meetings and issue clarifications on technical matters.
• Recommend improvements on existing systems and train staff on new procedures.
• Research latest laws and codes needed for assigned projects.
• Manage team members and develop technical knowledge and leadership abilities.

Job description

Responsible for delivering accurate and complete designs and budget estimates for Land Development, Amenities, and Housing Structures within the agreed timeframe. Prepares additional documents as needed outside the design matrix.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and complete Land Development, Amenities, Residential and Commercial Projects, budgets

  and estimates needed based on agreed timeframe; deliver additional documents outside of the design matrix

• Checks and compiles all submittals from Engineers and supervises generation and preparation of budgets and designs for presentation and approval.

• Prepares structural designs and coordinates with the architectural team from SD to CD stage of the project.

• Coordinates with consultants (Structural) during the design and construction stage of the project

• Conducts site inspections to ascertain compliance to design and budget requirements and submits reports on any findings or discrepancies to his superior for proper disposition

• Ensures proper maintenance of pertinent files and documents for future reference

• Checks submitted plans together with Architecture Head prior to submission

• Attends project meetings and issues clarifications and directives on technical matters.

• Recommends improvements on the existing systems and procedures or proposes new systems and procedures in implementing the activities of the unit.

• Researches on the latest laws and codes needed for the assigned projects.

• Manage team members and develop technical knowledge and leadership abilities of team members/staff

• Prepares and updates a weekly design schedule of the Engineering section and responsible for assigning jobs/tasks to the production units.

• Cascade lates laws and codes needed for the assigned projects and train team members to develop technical knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (with Professional License).

• Proficient in MS Excel Proficient in Autocad Proficient in ETABS

• Knowledgeable in Construction Estimates

• Knowledgeable in Structural Design (Midrise – RC Building)

• Knowledgeable in Structural Code of the Philippines Basic knowledge In Building Codes, and all applicable local codes for structures
