Job summary

CitiHomes Builder and Development, Inc. in Makati City is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the technical team, review structural plans, analyses, and estimates to ensure compliance with the National Structural Code and the National Building Code of the Philippines.

You will collaborate with the Construction Team to ensure field execution adheres to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer required.
• 6+ years of managerial experience in construction, real estate, or property development.

Responsibilities

• Review structural plans for compliance with the National Structural Code and the National Building Code of the Philippines.
• Check and review the bill of materials for alignment with specifications and cost estimates.
• Verify labor and material computations against approved unit costs and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections with the Engineering Team to ensure construction follows approved plans.
• Evaluate new construction methodologies and materials to improve cost efficiency and speed.
• Research alternative materials and modern methodologies to keep the company competitive.

Job description

The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the technical team and reviewing structural plans, analyses, and estimates to ensure compliance with the National Structural Code and the National Building Code of the Philippines. The Engineering Manager collaborates with the Construction Team to ensure field execution adheres to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards. Furthermore, the Engineering Manager evaluates and recommends new materials and construction methods to drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency, quality, and project timelines.

What You'll Do:

• Review structural plans for housing, amenities, and land development to ensure that all analysis and computations comply with the National Structural Code and National Building Code of the Philippines.
• Check and review the bill of materials to guarantee alignment with the approved specifications and the most economical cost estimates.
• Verify that labor and material computations are aligned with the approved unit costs and budget estimate.
• Conduct site inspections with the Engineering Team to ensure that all construction is executed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
• Evaluate new construction methodologies and materials to improve the cost efficiency and speed of construction.
• Research alternative materials and modern construction methodologies to keep the company competitive and up to date.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
• At least six (6) years of relevant managerial experience, gained from construction, real estate, or property development industry.
• Proficiency in computer applications and software such as MS Office, AutoCad, STAAD, IDEA StatiCa, and Civil 3D.
• Willing to work in Makati City.
