Job summary

Prudential plc seeks a Head of Technology Strategy & Planning to shape PLUK's enterprise technology direction, aligning IT capabilities with business priorities. The role reports to the CITO, drives strategy, budgets, and governance while overseeing UI/UX standards through an embedded designer, ensuring user-centered solutions.

You will produce executive presentations, run QPBR, manage scorecards, and lead a small team across regions to deliver strategic roadmaps and enterprise townhalls.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' experience in IT strategy and digital transformation.
• Proven ability to manage partner-led delivery engagements.
• Strong executive presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of UX/UI design systems and user journey mapping.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PLUK's enterprise technology strategy roadmap up to 3 years.
• Lead quarterly performance reviews (QPBR) for the CITO and ExCo.
• Create executive-level presentations for boards and regulators.
• Oversee IT budgeting cycles including CAPEX/OPEX forecasting.
• Drive portfolio governance and technology risk assessments.
• Lead modernization initiatives and digital transformation programs.
• Oversee UI/UX governance through embedded designer.
• Manage a team of 2+ people and align cross-functional priorities.
• Partner with vendor engagements to deliver measurable business value.
