Handyman Do it Best Philippines seeks an experienced Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, planning, reporting, and audit activities. This role serves as a key advisor to management, ensuring adherence to tax regulations while identifying opportunities to enhance tax efficiency and governance across the organization.

The ideal candidate will lead the Tax team, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement in tax processes within a Philippine-based business environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy with a CPA license (required).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations, compliance requirements, and statutory reporting.
• Experience in tax planning, tax audits, risk management, and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of all tax returns and statutory requirements, ensuring full compliance with Philippine tax regulations.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies while providing tax advisory support for business initiatives, transactions, and operational decisions.
• Lead tax audits, assessments, regulatory examinations, and dispute resolution efforts with government agencies and external stakeholders.
• Manage tax reporting, provisions, reconciliations, and financial statement disclosures while ensuring accuracy and integrity of tax data.
• Lead and develop the Tax team, drive process improvements, strengthen tax controls, and promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
